Creative direction, Logo Design: Dusia Alexeeva
Objective: DJ STR, a prominent SoundCloud artist, needed a logo and a series of album covers to represent his eclectic music style, which spans disco, house, and Afrobeats. The goal was to create a cohesive visual identity that captured the essence of his sound while appealing to a broad online audience.
Process: I began by designing a logo that blended modernity with retro elements, evoking the vibrant, rhythmic nature of disco and house music. Each album cover was crafted to visually reflect the mood of DJ STR’s tracks, using bold colors, dynamic shapes, and abstract imagery. The typography was chosen to mirror the fluidity of the music, creating a seamless connection between the visual and auditory experience.
I worked closely with DJ STR to ensure that the designs resonated with his artistic vision, creating a unified aesthetic that was both engaging and reflective of his diverse musical influences.
