Objective: Paws & Pals is a pet product brand that needed packaging to reflect both the fun-loving nature of pets and the practical concerns of pet owners. The goal was to create a design that appealed to pet owners by emphasizing the product’s benefits while also standing out on crowded retail shelves.
Process: To capture the playful essence of pets, I incorporated bright, cheerful colors and whimsical illustrations into the design. The packaging needed to communicate not only the product's playful aspect but also its high-quality ingredients and functionality. Each product line was color-coded to help consumers easily identify the different categories (e.g., grooming products, toys, food). Functional design elements were added, such as resealable packaging for treats, making it convenient for pet owners. The typography was chosen for its readability, ensuring that important product information could be easily understood at a glance.
I also ensured the design was adaptable across a range of products, from small pet accessories to larger food containers. This required developing scalable designs that maintained brand consistency regardless of packaging size.
