Objective: The Kokee Vega Band, a reggae group based in Long Beach, needed a logo and branding that reflected their laid-back, soulful music style. The design needed to be personal and authentic, resonating with the band’s local fan base.
Process: I developed a logo featuring a bird motif, inspired by the band leader’s personal tattoo. This added a layer of authenticity and meaning to the design, making it not just a brand symbol but a personal reflection of the band’s identity. The logo was created in a minimalist style, using simple lines and earthy tones to reflect the organic, natural feel of reggae music.
The branding extended to promotional materials, ensuring a cohesive visual identity across all platforms. I worked closely with the band to ensure the design aligned with their artistic vision and musical style.
