In “Into the Red,” I explore the visceral and emotional intensity that the color red evokes. Red, historically associated with power, passion, love, and danger, serves as the driving force behind this series, where each artwork dives into the deeper psychological and emotional dimensions of the human experience.
The use of red in this collection is deliberate, challenging the viewer to confront the spectrum of emotions it embodies—from the warmth of love and vitality to the darker undercurrents of anger and aggression.
The compositions are marked by sharp contrasts and bold, sweeping strokes that evoke both movement and tension. Red, in this series, becomes more than just a color—it is a narrative tool that guides the viewer through a range of emotional states.
As with all of my work, the intent is to provoke thought and self-reflection. Red is often seen as a symbol of life and death, of beginnings and ends, and through these pieces, I invite viewers to contemplate their own relationship with these elemental forces.
Each artwork is a dialogue between intensity and calm, violence and peace, leaving space for personal interpretation and emotional engagement.
