Creative direction, Logo Design: Dusia Alexeeva
Objective: GRAPHLIEN, a family-owned company specializing in cutting-edge materials, sought a logo that would reflect both its legacy and its innovative approach to materials science. My task was to design a logo that bridged the company’s long-standing reputation with its forward-thinking ethos.
Process: I began by presenting five distinct logo options to the client, each thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of GRAPHLIEN. Drawing from the company’s history and its expertise in materials, I integrated elements that conveyed both sophistication and reliability. The design process involved researching the company’s heritage and exploring how to visually represent its core values, such as precision, durability, and innovation.
Each option offered a unique take on the company’s identity, with variations in typography, color schemes, and iconography that subtly referenced both tradition and the future. After thorough feedback and collaboration, a final logo was selected that best embodied GRAPHLIEN’s dual focus on legacy and technological advancement.
Outcome: The final logo became a key visual asset for GRAPHLIEN, helping solidify its brand identity in a competitive industry. It was widely praised for its balance of modern design with traditional values, enhancing the company’s brand recognition.
After the client selected the logo option they most resonated with, we proceeded to implement the logo across various aspects of their business. I ensured that the brand maintained a cohesive and unified identity, reinforcing brand recognition and establishing a strong visual presence in various contexts. Below are some examples showcasing how the logo was seamlessly integrated into different elements of their brand identity:
Business Building Decal Sign: I designed an innovative see-through decal sign featuring the brand signature, strategically placed on the exterior of the business building. This unique signage solution not only added a touch of modernity but also effectively captured the attention of passersby, making a bold statement about the brand's identity.
Logo on Shipping Container: The logo was prominently displayed on the side of the company's shipping container, serving as a distinctive marker during transportation and storage. This ensured that the brand remained visible and recognizable even during logistical operations, further enhancing brand awareness.
Logo on Hard Hats and Work Gear: To foster a sense of unity and brand pride among employees, I incorporated the logo onto hard hats and other work gear. This not only reinforced the brand identity within the workforce but also promoted a strong sense of professionalism and safety adherence on job sites.
