Objective: Cha Cha Matcha, a New York-based tea brand, required a logo, packaging, and an informational book to distinguish itself in the competitive tea market. The goal was to create a contemporary and engaging brand identity that reflected the vibrant nature of matcha and its rich cultural heritage.
Process: I began by designing a bold, colorful logo that would appeal to a modern, urban audience while maintaining the authenticity of the brand’s origins. The packaging design followed a similar ethos, featuring bright colors and clean lines that communicated freshness and energy. For the book "A Brief History of Tea," I focused on crafting an engaging narrative paired with sleek, minimalist illustrations to draw readers into the cultural journey of matcha.
The overall design was driven by the need to convey both tradition and modernity, appealing to health-conscious consumers who value both authenticity and aesthetics. The book served as both an educational tool and a marketing piece, enriching the customer experience by tying the product to a rich historical context.
Outcome: The branding and packaging design helped establish Cha Cha Matcha as a unique and vibrant presence in the tea market. The book became an integral part of the brand’s story, enhancing customer engagement and providing a deeper understanding of the product’s cultural significance.
